12-Year-Old Queens Girl Hangs Herself From Ceiling Fan After Being Cyber-Bullied By Classmates

We, at ETCB, are deeply saddened to hear the tragic passing of 12 year old Gabrielle Molina, after suffering relentless cyber bullying. Gabrielle, a seemingly cheerful child loved by her family and neighbors, was unable to handle the abuse from her middle-school classmates. ETCB strives to reach out to individuals suffering as much as Gabrielle was and learning of her story motivates us to work harder than ever to prevent such cases. ETCB Co-founder Samuel Lam featured on World Journal

ETCB at the Take a Stand Assembly

ETCB’s Remy Park, regional executive of Asia, recently made an appearance at the Concordia School to discuss how to stand up against bullying and cyber bullying. Both staff and students signed a pledge promising to become upstanding members of society and to help to aid one another in the struggle against bullying. ETCB co-founder Samuel Lam was awarded as one of New York’s top two youth volunteer of 2013 by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a nationwide program honoring young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism. Samuel’s philanthropic actions in founding the ETCB organization will be recognized and celebrated in an all -expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C.
